Are you perfect? Do you know anyone who is perfect? Of course not. But with the approaching New Year, you should know someone who is working on perfection. This should include everyone…even yourself.
Let’s be real. We all know that even though perfection is not possible – it is the actual quest for perfection that teaches us the valuable lesson. The journey to perfection allows us to continuously get better…and that, in itself is the real goal for our lives.
The similarity is…we are all in the game of life, and this is also where the differences start. Meaning, we all have different starting points. We all have different abilities, and regardless of who you are…we all suffer different setbacks. The beauty in all of this is that we have the potential to get better. Conversely, we also have the potential to get worse. Life does not care what choice you make. Here’s the question…Do You?
In Life Coaching, we specialize in helping people change and become better versions of themselves. We recognize that perfection doesn’t exist, but we know full well that being better is alive and well. This is the main reason why we do what we do.
The biggest change you will ever make starts with the smallest change you are willing to make. You’re not going to change life itself, no one can…but you can change your life one small thing at a time. The New Year brings a new chance to continue your old journey with a new mindset and new tools. This New Year, don’t let yourself down by accepting mediocrity. Get out there and make it happen. Here are some tools to help support you in your journey:
- What would you like to change about your life?
- What is the smallest change that you could make today?
- What support do you need to make the change consistent?
Remember, wanting to make a big change only gets you so far, but actually making the small change allows you to reach your goals.
